Different wall type was enjoyable to construct. Some fragile construction so be careful how you hold the structure when attaching pieces. Good challenge to build.

    This set along with every other made by funwhole genuinely blow me away in every aspect. Not limited to quality, function, playability and beauty.

    I have every single one of their sets and will continue to buy them as they come out even if I'm not ready to build them because they are so great.

    The quality is just as good as the big L brand and I would even argue better based on the fact that it's so much cheaper price per piece and that's without even taking into account the lighting kits.

    This particular log cabin set would cost at least $400 from the leading L brand without a lighting kit and then that would be another hundred at least for the lighting kit.

    They put love and effort into their sets. If you follow their social media, you will know.

    I can't wait to see what else this brand puts out.

    To start, this product was packaged extremely well with all bags clearly marked as well as the lights marked well.

    The white base it sits on is uber finicky. It falls apart easily as its not held together extremely well. So as you rotate the build to add more blocks the white base just falls apart. This should have came with a 32x32 baseplate instead of building the baseplate with items that wont hold.

    The walls of this build is very sub par. Often held together by only 1 or 2 studs and its repetative really dislike building the flimsy side walls. The back wall is held in by 2 studs so thats not up to snuff either. The roof is a disaster. Two x technic pins that fit into a couple of technic wide round holes but not tightly. Quite a bit of movement.
    One of the strings of lights works but very dim.

    The details in this build are out of this world. Fantastic job. Funko has never did me wrong yet and even though i dont like HOW this was built i love how it looks NOW that it is built. The right side of the wall can lay flat so you can see all the interior details even the flickering fireplace in the corner!

    (The bear is just awesome)

    You will love to display this piece as long as you DONT move it.

    Inserting the lighting as you build is perfect as with other light kits you dont have to destroy 1/2 the build to install it. Everything is in the instructions on how to do it. A little tricky but you will get it. A sold B+ for this set. I have always enjoyed building funwhole sets and with the exception of the side walls and the roof this is a great build.

    Buy a white 32x32 baseplate as well as sone smaller white plates for the base. The put your entire build on it and the base of the build wont fall apart and since its all white the baseplates will look as if its part of the build.

    Cant wait to build my next funwhole project!

    This build was so fun to do. I will definitely purchase from them in the future. I actually liked it way better than Lego.
    The instructions were so much easier to follow, colours were true to the pictures in the guide. There are some areas in the build (the walls) that were a little frustrating but I like a challenge. Peices all fit well together and no issues that way. If you are looking for something a little more challenging or a great display piece this is the build you want!

    This set is a MASTERPIECE!! Seriously. I wasn't sure I would have this much fun with a set that wasn't LEGO. It is truly a work of art- challenging and fun. For anyone who is on the fence about FUNWHOLE sets, let this be the review that eases your mind. It surpassed my expectations so much that I bought 2 more sets, and have strayed away from the LEGO store.

    First off, the packaging is amazing- everything perfectly labeled; crisp and clean boxing.

    Secondly, the instructions are THE BEST instructions I've had the pleasure of using. Clearly detailed with colours that actually look like the pieces so you won't be tearing your hair out in frustration. The instructions even have pictures on each page that helps you measure the correct piece!!! (See attached pic). This beats LEGO instructions HANDS DOWN!

    Currently halfway through this build and I CANNOT WAIT till it's complete and lit up. Stay tuned for more pics when I'm finished .

    BETTER THAN LEGO!!!!!!!

    This set is a MASTERPIECE!! Seriously. I wasn't sure I would have this much fun with a set that wasn't LEGO. It is truly a work of art- challenging and fun. For anyone who is on the fence about FUNWHOLE sets, let this be the review that eases your mind. It surpassed my expectations so much that I bought 2 more sets, and have strayed away from the LEGO store.

    First off, the packaging is amazing- everything perfectly labeled; crisp and clean boxing.

    Secondly, the instructions are THE BEST instructions I've had the pleasure of using. Clearly detailed with colours that actually look like the pieces so you won't be tearing your hair out in frustration. The instructions even have pictures on each page that helps you measure the correct piece!!! (See attached pic). This beats LEGO instructions HANDS DOWN!

    Currently halfway through this build and I CANNOT WAIT till it's complete and lit up. Stay tuned for more pics when I'm finished .

    For the record, I own and have built, far more real Lego sets and MOC's than most. I "used to be" a strong Lego purist. Recently, however, Funwhole has changed this whole dynamic. They are amazing! First of all, they do not "rip off" genuine Lego sets or published MOC's. Instead, they come up with their own sets and even specific parts. ...and these parts are of EXCELLENT quality, as good, or better, than Lego bricks. Furthermore their instructions are top-notch, printed with accurate, vibrant colors. And all of this is just the beginning! As opposed to Lego, that just provides shallow fronts to buildings, Funwhole's buildings are generally 3x as deep and enclosed on all sides, making them perfectly realistic. These outsides are incredibly well detailed and all feature hinged portions to reveal even more detailed interiors. Though I build them as static models, their playability for any child is without peer. And did I mention that all of their sets are lighted?!? ...and over HALF the price of Lego! So here it is in summary... With Funwhole, you get at least twice as many bricks, buildings 3x bigger (and enclosed), awesome playability and a FREE built in light kit for less than HALF the amount charged by the major brand. I am completely sold. One final note just to emphasize how great they are... they even provide a small metal screwdriver (for opening the battery box) AND a pair of metal tweezers to safely remove the lighting electrical connections without damaging the wires. Who does that?!?
